Fundraising

The Harvest Party is a family-friendly event organized and promoted each year at Woodstock. The Harvest Party will take place on October 28th from 6-8 pm It is run by and for Woodstock families. Every year, we need help in many ways to make this event a success. Our event offers activities, food, a silent auction of teacher and parent donated activities and more.

If you would like to volunteer your time and energy this year, or make a donation, Coordinators Michelle Judson and Susan Martin could use your help. . . Do you have an activity you can organize or run for this year's event? (craft, juggling, art activity, storytelling, mad scientist experiments, cake walk, pumpkin painting, face painting, decorating, etc.)? Would you lead a hike, run a cooking class, or have another idea for a donation to the silent auction?

We are open to ideas and want to hear from you! Contact Michelle or Susan. We will also be at the back-to-school picnic on September 9th so look for our sign up table. This year’s event needs YOU to make it a success for everyone.

• Registering your Safeway club card at www.escrip.com to make sure that Safeway credits Woodstock PTA with a percentage of every purchase you make. Its a no-cost, no-hassle way to support your child's classroom!
• You can also register your Mastercard and Visa cards at www.escrip.com and participating vendors will automatically donate a percentage of each of yourpurchases to Woodstock PTA. You do not have to keep track of these purchases, and it is no cost to you. Let your cards do the work for you!

The Environmental Committee has built a garden at Woodstock. Thanks to the volunteers that helped bring this garden to a reality. Work continues on the garde.

New committee members are always welcome as garden plans expand and more green projects are in the works.
