Other PTA Information

Classroom Representatives

Woodstock PTA has assigned 1 parent to each classroom to help teachers who might need assistance finding parent volunteers for classroom projects, field trips, copying, or anything else you may need. This classroom representative will have contact information for all class parents and can either communicate your needs to the group, or share contact information with you so you can communicate directly with parents. Classroom reps will also assist PTA, Shu Ren, and school in giving out information when it needs to go to a specific grade level.

PTA Staff Liaison Board Position

Laura Morgan will be on the 2010-2011 Executive Board as Staff Liaison. Laura will help facilitate communication between the Woodstock Faculty and staff. Should you have concerns regarding any PTA event, please contact any PTA board member. We are here to support you!

Teacher Speakers Wanted for PTA meetings

We are looking for teachers and staff willing to present classroom information at any General PTA meeting this coming year. We would like to provide a forum for communicating literacy, math, science curriculum or volunteer needs to parents at this meeting. If there is some other topic you feel would benefit the parent community and/or help support teachers, we are open to your ideas!

Teacher Donations for 2010 Harvest Party

The 2010 Harvest Party Committee is looking for teachers who can donate time and materials with a community focus to our silent auction. The proceeds of the silent auction will support the entire Woodstock students with your classroom supplies, field trips, and more. Donation ideas will be suggested at your staff meeting in October. We appreciate any support and time you might have for this fundraising event.
