Volunteer Background Check Form

Background checks are good for 3 years. If you need to fill out a new one, download a Background Check Form . Fill it out and bring to Karla in the front office at Woodstock Elementary. Woodstock PTA pays your $5 processing fee.

Quarter Schedule

Woodstock Elementary is now on a PPS Quarter Schedule with all other PPS Schools. Please go to PPS Calendars to download the language version for you. Breaks are also noted on the PTA google calendar.

Student Directory

PTA and Shu Ren publish this parent resource each year. All parents must okay this information each year. Look for 2010-2011 directory forms to make sure you are included!

School Hours

Breakfast: 8:00-8:10 am. Students should enter the cafeteria directly from the outside of the building at the door facing the primary playground.

Building Opens 8:10 a.m. . Tardy bell ringing at 8:15 a.m. Children should not arrive before 8:10 a.m. unless they are eating breakfast. The only exception to this policy are safety patrol members. During cold and inclement weather, children may enter the building and remain in the cafeteria until dismissed.
Kindergarten: AM Session - 8:15-10:50 a.m. Full Day -- 8:15 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Grades 1-5 - 8:15 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Lunch and Recess: Full Day Kind. and 1st Grade -- 11:00-11:50 a.m. Grades 2-5 -- 11:10-11:50 a.m.

School Communication

One of the keys to student success and achievement is parent involvement. Research shows that students with involved parents score better on tests, earn higher grades, are more likely to attend classes and graduate, and are more likely to go on to post-secondary education. PTA and Education groups provide many tips to encourage parent involvement. Among these tools are resources on communicating with teachers and schools.
